Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade platforms supporting modern application development.
This role focuses on Kubernetes and Kafka-based platforms in a hybrid (on‑prem + cloud) environment, enabling multiple teams to build and run secure, scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and manage large‑scale, multi‑tenant platform environments
* Build and support Kubernetes‑based container platforms
* Design and manage Kafka‑based event streaming systems
* Work across hybrid infrastructure (on‑prem + cloud)
* Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security
* Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
* Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders
* Lead technical discussions and guide engineering teams
Must‑Have Skills
* Strong experience with Kubernetes (cluster design, deployment, scaling)
* Hands‑on experience with Kafka (design, setup, performance tuning)
* Experience working in hybrid environments (on‑prem + cloud)
* Good understanding of containers (Docker)
* Experience with monitoring/observability tools
Nice to Have
* Experience with CI/CD and automation tools
* Exposure to enterprise integration technologies
* Experience working in large‑scale, multi‑team environments
Ideal Candidate
* 7+ years’ experience in Platform Engineering / DevOps / Infrastructure
* Experience working on enterprise platforms used by multiple teams
* Strong problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills
* Comfortable leading and mentoring engineers
