The role of the Registered Care Manager involves coordination and supervision for optimal service quality.

Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee daily operations of the care service, ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care delivery in line with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards or equivalent regulatory requirements.
2. Ensure the service meets all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, including maintaining up-to-date policies, conducting audits, and preparing for inspections.
3. Recruit, train, supervise, and support care staff, fostering a positive team culture and ensuring continuous professional development.
4. Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring they meet service users’ needs, preferences, and goals
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure coordinated care
6. Monitor and evaluate care delivery, implementing improvements to enhance service quality and outcomes for service users
7. Work closely with the directing managers to drive growth and service excellence
Requirements
8. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
9. Proven experience in a management role within a residential or domiciliary care setting, ideally as a Registered Care Manager
10. Strong understanding of CQC and health & social care regulations and standards
11. Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
12. Must live local to the Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks area
