We are seeking a Senior Clinical Team Administrator to support the East Suffolk Locality Governance Manager role for a 6 month fixed term, opportunity. The post holder will undertake data reporting, populating reports, following up actions following incidents, audits and service developments for both inpatient and community services. Liaising with the individual services, Community Matrons and Operational Managers to ensure compliance with patient safety responsibilities. This is a great opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding in quality and governance, ensuring patient safety is at the heart of everything we do.
Main duties of the job
The ideal post holder will be very organised, with experience in administrative settings, and ideally have knowledge or interest in clinical governance,, healthcare and the NHS.
Provide accurate, prompt and efficient administrative support to the multidisciplinary teams which may include presentations / spreadsheets including complex and confidential reports.
Contribute to effective communication by liaising with internal and external parties and agencies as required.

Job responsibilities
Provide secretarial / administrative support to the team in order that they can provide an efficient service to all customers.
Participate in ongoing audits and service development
Respond to the needs of the service to ensure that the requirements of the Trust can be met.
Interpersonal skills including taking a proactive diplomatic approach and ensuring confidentiality at all times
Be able to use a range of ICT including Microsoft (especially word processing, spreadsheets and presentations, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent.
Person Specification
Knowledge
* Working knowledge of Microsoft packages or equivalent.
* Maintaining administrative / secretarial systems
* Knowledge of NHS policy / procedures.
Qualifications
* NVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent or willing to work towards.
* NVQ 2 Customer Services or working towards
* Knowledge of Trust electronic record system
Experience
* Working on own initiative without supervision.
* Ability to work with senior members of staff across a large organisation.
