About the Role
As a Housing Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with a wide range of housing inquiries efficiently. You will provide high-quality administrative and customer-facing services across Housing Services, collaborating closely with Neighbourhood Officers and colleagues to support tenancy management and service delivery.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy helping others, thrive in fast-paced environments, and wish to expand their knowledge of housing services.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle customer inquiries via in-person, online, and phone channels, aiming for first-contact resolution.
* Provide advice and guidance on housing-related matters.
* Support administrative processes such as tenancy changes, terminations, and application assessments.
* Assist residents in accessing online services and digital tools.
* Maintain accurate records using housing management systems.
* Work flexibly across teams and support broader service delivery.
* Gather customer feedback to help improve services.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in a customer service environment.
* Basic understanding of housing advice and tenancy procedures.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Confidence in using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Resilience, positivity, and adaptability to change.
