Field Service Engineer - South West of UK
What is the Position?
Due to the retirement of one of our experienced field service engineers, a position is now available for a dedicated and conscientious candidate to join our team as a Field Service Engineer.
The role involves providing field service support for software and device installation, device repair, and calibration of diagnostic medical systems throughout the South West area.
The successful candidate will be expected to travel extensively within the South West of UK region, with possible travel to other areas as needed. Overnight stays near customer sites may be required at times.
This position is for 40 hours per week. Flexibility in working hours and adaptability to changing schedules are essential, with occasional overnight stays.

Skills Required
* Good general IT knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems
* Previous field service experience is desirable but not essential
* Experience in the Healthcare/Medical sector is desirable but not essential
* Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment
* Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages
* Ability to lift heavy loads occasionally to handle service equipment
Job Responsibilities
* Provide onsite support for customers using Natus diagnostic and screening products
* Install, configure, and fault-find on Natus software platforms
* Manage installation, repair, maintenance, and calibration tasks on site
* Ensure timely resolution of customer issues through good time management
* Promote Natus service products, including service contracts
* Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine solutions
* Produce detailed and timely service reports
* Follow all company QMS procedures and protocols
* Collaborate with the technical team and share information organization-wide
* Understand customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations
* Build and maintain positive customer relationships
* Coordinate with UK sales team to support customer activity
