Job Description
Global Talent Initiative in Intelligent Systems & Advanced Automotive Technologies
We are supporting a nationally backed innovation platform undertaking a strategic, large-scale global talent initiative.
The working location can be based in your home country (remote collaboration) or in China.
This programme is designed to attract established researchers and technical leaders working at the forefront of:
* Intelligent robotics and autonomous systems
* SLAM, multi-sensor fusion, and advanced perception
* LiDAR, 3D reconstruction, and spatial intelligence
* Industrial IoT and digital infrastructure systems
* High-definition mapping and geospatial technologies
* New energy vehicle systems, including e-drive architectures
* Air suspension, intelligent chassis systems, and lightweight structures
* Advanced composite materials and smart manufacturing
The initiative operates at a national strategic level and is part of a broader long-term industrial upgrading agenda. It is not tied to a predefined job description. Instead, the platform seeks to align with individuals whose research trajectory and technological depth can contribute meaningfully to next-generation intelligent equipment and advanced automotive systems.
Candidate Profile (Strict Criteria)
We are looking for individuals who:
* Hold a PhD from a QS Top 100 university
* Graduated in 2022 or earlier
* Are currently conducting research at a QS Top 200 university or
* Are currently working within a Fortune Global 500 company in a research, advanced engineering, or technology leadership capacity
Candidates should demonstrate sustained research depth, system-level thinking, and a track record of translating advanced technologies into scalable industrial or applied outcomes.
The Opportunity
This is part of a structured national innovation effort with long-term commitment, substantial institutional backing, and cross-sector integration.
The programme is intentionally broad in scope to accommodate different technical specialisations across robotics, digital systems, intelligent manufacturing, and advanced automotive technologies. Alignment is built around the individual’s expertise and long-term research direction, rather than fitting into a predefined role.
Further details can be shared in direct discussion.
