Salfords Primary School is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic After School Assistant to join our team – 6 hours per week, supporting children in a fun and vibrant after‑school setting.
The Details
* Start Date: 6th October 2025
* Salary: GLF Associate 2 - Point 1 - £22,918.66 to Max £24,872
* Actual Salary: Point 1 £3,286.13 to £3,566.20 (dependent on experience)
* Hours of work: 15:00-18:00 Mon and Fri (6 hrs per week) Term Time Only (39 weeks per year)
* Closing Date: 28 September 2025
* Interview date: TBA
What We Are Looking For
* Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
* Have an interest in the play needs of children
* Be able to participate in a variety of activities including arts and crafts, cooking, and other indoor and outdoor games
* Be proactive, using their own initiative to differentiate activities to ensure full inclusion for all abilities and ages
* Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour and circumstances
* Be enthusiastic and motivated and committed to working as part of a team
