Youâll work alongside experienced IT professionals, developing your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills while providing essential support to staff across the organisation.\n\nSalary: £16,000 per annum\n\nWorking hours: Monday to Friday, 9am â 5pm\n\nFuture prospects:\n90% of QA apprentices secure permanent employment after completing: this is 20% higher than the national average.\n â¢\tService desk support - Assist and support the team with service desk incidents and service requests that are submitted by users via the Self-Service Portal. Provide clear and concise ticket notes in ITSM tool when creating, updating and resolving incidents. Ticket quality is imperative\nâ¢\tKnowledge articles - Review and assist with creation and upkeep of knowledge base articles to be consumed by the end user â with the objective of reducing calls by empowering colleagues to search knowledge base for guidance/process or procedures prior to engaging the Service Desk\nâ¢\tHardware - Assist in the setup, installation and configuration of laptops, printers, and other IT equipment\nâ¢\tProjects - Provide support and guidance for any projects that require Service Desk involvement\nâ¢\tAssets - Work closely with the team to ensure that the IT Asset Database is always maintained and up to date\nâ¢\tJML (joiners/movers/leavers) â Assist the team with weekly Joiners/Movers and Leavers from the company.
