Litho Printer (Contract)
Hourly Rate - £17.93/hour (Average 40 hours per week, £37,294.40 per annum), plus overtime
Location: Wiltshire/Hampshire
We're working with a large pan-European manufacturing business which operates 7 days a week that is actively seeking an experienced Litho Printer to join one of its site Manufacturing teams on a contract (potentially to permanent).
You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a B1 2 colour perfecting printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials efficiently and safely.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate litho sheetfed printing press
* Read and interpret job instructions specifications
* Prepare plates, inks, and paper for print production
* Monitor print quality, colour consistency, and registration through production
* Make adjustments throughout to ensure output meets quality standards
* Perform routine maintenance and maintain clean press equipment and working area
* Troubleshoot mechanical or print issues quickly to minimise downtime
* Ensure adherence to company health & safety procedures
* Maintain accurate production records and logs
Your Skills and Experience
* Experience as a 2 colour or multicolour Litho Print Operator (typically 3+ years); experience of Heidelberg equipment is an advantage but not a pre‑requisite
* Good technical knowledge of lithographic/offset printing processes
* Solid understanding of colour matching and print quality control
* Capable mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills – likely to have some basic maintenance/engineering skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is critical for the role
* Attention to detail and understanding of ISO quality standards
* Preparedness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends if required
