Awarded “Outstanding Education & Care” by OFSTED Swalcliffe Park School provides specialist residential education and care for circa 70 secondary aged boys (10-19 yrs) all of whom are on the Autism Spectrum. We are currently seeking to employ highly motivated and professional Learning Support Assistants to join our established team. Duties include supporting Key Stage 3 and/or 4 students in a range of learning situations both in school and within the community. Successful Candidates Will Have GCSE level education (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics Grade 4 (formerly C) or above (essential); An interest in and experience: of working within either an educational setting or youth and community work environment (essential); of working with students with ASC (desirable); and for one of the Learning Support Assistant roles, a focus on providing classroom support in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects (desirable). A full driving licence and be eligible (at least 21 years of age and 2 years’ driving to meet insurer’s requirements) and willing to drive a school vehicle to transport students to community based activities (essential).
