Job Overview
An exciting opportunity for a motivated pharmacist to join the Rheumatology and Dermatology Team, delivering high-quality clinical care to outpatients and inpatients at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. The role involves working under supervision to develop clinical skills, contribute to service improvements, and support multidisciplinary team activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services supporting rheumatology and dermatology patients.
* Assist in managing the rheumatology day case unit and homecare services.
* Perform independent pharmacist prescriber role (upon completion of training).
* Develop guidelines, protocols, and SOPs with senior pharmacists.
* Participate in service development projects and mentorship.
* Support education and training of pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals.
* Contribute to out-of-hours pharmacy services, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Certificate in clinical pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
* Willingness to complete independent prescribing qualification.
* Strong communication, time management, and analytical skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team.
