Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Bullingdon, a category B Prison located in Bicester, Oxford.

Hours
37.5 hours a week, working 5 nights in a 4 week period, 7.30‑19.30, and then the rest a mixture of main, long shifts between Monday to Sunday 7.30‑17.30. Every other weekend working 19.30‑07.30.
Salary
Annual salary up to £48,951 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
Your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Provide outstanding evidence based care to patients seeking out, listening to, and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them – focusing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
* Daily shift coordination responsibilities
* Deliver non‑judgemental care, build therapeutic relationships, and promote professional boundaries.
* Play an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care following our policies, procedures, and always considering safeguarding.

Qualifications and experience
* Qualified Paramedic
* Current professional registration (HCPC)
* Proven post‑registration ambulance experience – 3 years post‑qualified
* Evidence of continued professional development
* A non‑judgemental and compassionate approach
* Proven experience in either Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries / illness
* Experience in a hospital, community or prison environment (ideal but not essential)
