Underwriter (E-Trade)
Location: Essex
Salary: Up to £45,000
Working Pattern: 4 days in the office per week
Are you an experienced insurance professional with a passion for E-Trade and Acturis? We're looking for a talented Underwriter to join a dynamic team and help shape the future of digital trading.
What you'll do:
1. Manage and develop a book of new business within the E-Trade proposition.
2. Build and maintain strong broker relationships, ensuring exceptional service and trading excellence.
3. Collaborate with IT and Technical Underwriting teams to enhance Acturis products and processes.
4. Review and underwrite quotations across multiple products within appetite, resolving queries promptly.
5. Act as a referral point for junior colleagues and support team performance within SLA targets.
What we're looking for:
6. Minimum 2 years' experience in underwriting with E-Trade, Acturis or property owners insurance.
7. Strong communication skills and ability to maintain broker relationships.
8. Proactive approach to improving processes and delivering compliant customer outcomes.
