Your new role
You’llbe supporting the client as an IT Deployment Support Technician, responsible for supporting the refresh and migration of end-user devices. Working under the direction of the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of new laptops and the collection of legacy equipment, all in line with the project’s migration schedule.
Key Responsibilities include -
1. Setting up and operating the Refresh Clinic
2. Migrating and refreshing laptops for end users
3. Logging into systems as instructed to support device setup
4. Collecting and handing over devices in line with the migration plan
5. Updating workflow management systems accurately
6. Escalating unresolved issues to Post-Migration Support Engineers
7. Conducting daily manual stock checks and reporting findings
8. Ensuring secure packaging and classification of returned devices
9. Moving equipment between storage and clinic locations daily
What you'll need to succeed
10. Valid SC Clearance
11. British Citizenship and a UK passport
12. Experience in IT hardware deployment or desktop support
13. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
