You will be working in the infrastructure OU in where our Infrastructure team brings design, build and refurbishment excellence to complex civil engineering projects nationwide – combining technical expertise with a passion for creating lasting value for people and places.
We are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor - Transport Division in Bedfordshire who will support live project and future bids within the transport division.
As the Quantity Surveyor - Transport Division, you will:
1. Provide commercial advice to delivery team.
2. Support forecasting and reporting as required.
3. Support cost control and capture.
4. Supply Chain management within budget and time constraints. Support the timely and professional management of Client and Supply Chain contractual obligations.
5. Support the procurement process.
We are looking for:
6. Good working knowledge of NEC4 contracts/commercial law.
7. Experience of managing the Client and Subcontractors.
8. Knowledge of commercial digital systems (Oracle, CEMAR and ProjectWise).
9. Awareness of the commercial 'shared success' with the Client.
10. Degree or equivalent in commercial related subject.
