Heywood
Monday to Friday role with some flexibility
Permanent, Full Time
£40,000, plus Bonus, pension + Healthcare + generous holidays + further perks
An excellent opportunity has arisen at a Market Leading manufacturing company seeking to bring an ambitious EHS professional on board. Supplying a key product to major global manufacturers, this opportunity to work for this progressive company offers long term security and technical challenge.
Role Description
To support the achievement of the QEHS strategy, objectives, and KPIs. Including Safety Management systems (ISO)
Support functional managers in understanding EHS legal requirements
Liaise with external bodies/service providers, including HSE, to support investigations and respond to queries
Lead in conducting and documenting Risk Assessments (including COSHH and manual handling) with cross-functional teams
Create EHS toolbox talks for Shift/Department Managers to deliver at huddles or team meetings.
Conduct audits and process reviews, collecting information and promoting improvement
Working on short- and long-term projects in the business
Skills and Qualifications
NEBOSH certificate
IOSH Certification
ISO Understanding
Experience within manufacturing - ideally chemical or similar
A positive "can do" attitude and drive to succeed
Willing to train, as there is lots of training and development available!
