We are excited to invite a passionate Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) to join our Bath and North East Somerset Drug and Alcohol Service, where you can truly make a difference in the lives of those facing challenges with drugs and alcohol.
As an NMP, you will work closely with individuals to create personalized, flexible, and realistic support packages that empower them on their recovery journey. Your passion for helping others will not only transform lives but also enhance your own career as you gain valuable experience and training within Turning Point.
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this dynamic community-based role, you will:
* Provide opiate substitute treatment and manage alcohol and opiate detoxifications.
* Support relapse prevention through effective medication management.
* Collaborate with the nursing team to offer Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations.
* Work closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services to create a holistic support network.
* Foster partnerships with external professionals and agencies to enhance service delivery.
