Business Systems Analyst - Banking / Financial / Student Loans - Hybrid - Outside IR35 Must live local to Glasgow so the office days are commutable Business System Analyst Responsibilities Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements. Manage evolving requirements and scope changes throughout the project lifecycle. Identify functional and non-functional requirements. Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. Perform detailed data analysis across multiple data sources. Produce data mappings, sequence diagrams, process flows, and HLD inputs. Support Agile delivery activities and work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Testers. Track actions, dependencies, and stakeholder commitments through to completion. Business System Analyst Skills and Experience Minimum 10 years' experience as a Business System Analyst, including at least 7 years in technical environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Hands-on experience analysing Oracle, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Excel, JSON, and CSV data sources. Experience designing data flows, transformations, and source-to-target mappings. Strong Agile and Scrum delivery experience. Experience working directly with development teams to create practical solutions. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capability. Significant client-facing experience. Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, SQL, PL/SQL, MuleSoft, cloud migration, and web services environments. Banking, Financial or Student Loans experience is highly desirable but not essential.
