Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Service Manager to lead our Day opportunities centre. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance with regulations, and a positive working environment for staff and the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the service to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards (CIW, Health And safety) and other relevant legislation.
* Support, inspire and develop a team of support workers through supervision, training, and mentoring.
* Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and stakeholders.
* Manage our care system (StoriiCare), staffing rotas (Breathe), and resources effectively.
* Promote independence, choice, and inclusion for the people we support.
* Respond to incidents and safeguarding concerns appropriately and promptly.
* Drive continuous service improvements.
* Develop onboarding systems and processes of new supported people
* Support the development of a respite provision for 2026
•Support and develop a fully comprehensive training programme.
