About the Role
Wates Property Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team in Southampton, supporting our Hampshire Blue Light contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on critical infrastructure for emergency services, ensuring safety, reliability, and operational excellence across a range of properties.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across Blue Light sites in Hampshire.
2. Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely and professional manner.
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including BS7671 and Health & Safety standards.
4. Collaborate with other engineers and site teams to deliver high-quality service.
5. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
6. Participate in an on-call rota as required.
Qualifications and Skills
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
* Proven experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within public sector or critical infrastructure environments.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Full UK driving licence.
