An exciting opportunity has arisen for a stores person to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab and interventional unit at Raigmore Hospital. The Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional unit are busy, demanding and rewarding departments in which to work, dealing with patients undergoing coronary angiograms / angioplasty and device implantation such as permanent pacemakers or ICDs, as well as vascular and urology interventions, drainages and biopsies. We also provide a Primary and rescue PCI service for patients with STEMI and inpatient treatment for other acute coronary syndromes.
The post holder will be expected to work alongside another stores person colleague.
Responsibilities
* Store person responsibilities such as dealing with company representatives, ordering stock, stock control and updating consignment databases.
* Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional unit environments with the participating teams.
* Maintain stock control systems and ensure accurate records are kept.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and external suppliers; develop good working relationships with the team.
Qualifications and requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A systematic approach to work.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain a positive attitude.
Working pattern
This is a full-time post worked across Monday to Friday. Actual hours of work could be negotiated.
