What the Job Involves Your role involves working closely with families and coordinating professional networks to ensure children grow up in safe, nurturing environments. You will manage a caseload of children with varying degrees of vulnerability and complexity and work towards long-term permanence for these children. This may include regular visits, creative engagement with children and families, leading meetings, updating plans and assessments, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies. You will have a role in the professional development of other social workers and may contribute to service improvement.
