Engineer – Cornish Orchards

What You’ll Be Doing
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across Mechanical, Electrical, and IT/OT disciplines.
* Troubleshooting and solving engineering/manufacturing challenges using proven techniques.
* Supporting site development and the execution of capital projects.
* Managing and prioritising maintenance activities with a strong focus on EHS, Food Safety, and production.
* Controlling engineering spares stock and helping reduce utility costs through continuous improvement.
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety, legal standards, calibrations, and safe systems of work.
* Maintaining 5S standards in the workshop and wider plant.
* Keeping accurate, timely records and supporting engineering audits.
About You
* Engineering qualifications/experience – ideally in FMCG or the drinks industry.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage teams.
* Experience working with ERP systems (SAP desirable) and confidence with Excel.
* Highly organised, detail‑focused, and able to balance individual initiative with team collaboration.
* Calm under pressure with a positive, problem‑solving attitude.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and high standards of professionalism.
