The Sales Team Leader Role
As a Sales Team Leader, you will support a field sales team and drive a world‑class level of customer service within the Initial Medical business. Key responsibilities include:
- Taking full ownership of the overall management and motivation of the team.
- Overseeing the management of large customer accounts, including growth and risk.
- Reporting on business KPIs and implementing measures to improve performance.
- Liaising with external field managers to monitor relationship success.
- Involving in the development of new sales processes and ensuring effective reporting.
- Driving customer focus and ownership throughout the business for speedy resolution of enquiries.
- Monitoring and maintaining direct reports’ sales plans, with monthly reviews.
- Checking and submitting monthly commission and bonus schemes.
- Responsibility for HR processes and improvements within the team.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a working environment would be advantageous.
- Have the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in the work environment.
- Experience in managing within a service delivery environment would be advantageous but this is something we can offer training on.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
- Ability to use own initiative and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Pride in the job you do.
- You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.
