About This Role
We are seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This is an exciting interim non-exempt position that sets the stage for your future as a Branch Manager. Successful completion of the Branch Manager Readiness program is required to transition into a managerial role, based on branch vacancies.
As a Branch Manager, you will lead and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture of engagement and accountability. You’ll drive customer engagement, enhance the customer experience, and ensure operational excellence while adhering to policies and regulations.
Your Responsibilities
* Coach and develop a high-performing team to execute business strategies and achieve results.
* Resolve customer and employee experience issues to meet Branch Network objectives.
* Identify opportunities to simplify banking for customers through education and digital options.
* Engage stakeholders and build strong partnerships to deliver a customer-centric experience.
* Mentor and guide talent development while assisting in hiring new talent.
* Ensure compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and related regulations.
What You’ll Need
Required Qualifications:
* 4+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or Branch Network.
* 2+ years of leadership experience.
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience in hiring, coaching, and developing team members.
* Ability to inspire a team focused on adaptability, collaboration, and accountability.
* Strong analytical skills to assess performance and empower employees.
* Experience in coaching across various customer segments.
* Proven ability to build effective relationships with customers and internal partners.
* Knowledge of banking industry laws, regulations, and compliance controls.
Job Expectations
* Willingness to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
* Ability to travel up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months.
* This position requires SAFE registration upon employment.
* This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
