£65,000 - £80,000 DOE + Annual Bonus + 22 Days Holiday (increasing with service) + Pension

This contractor specialises in delivering high-quality electrical installations for a diverse client base. Backed by an established parent company, they predominantly operate within the retail sector, delivering exciting projects including ultra-rapid EV charging schemes, forecourt installations, and commercial fit-outs. Following a highly successful year, they are now looking to further strengthen their market presence and brand identity by appointing an experienced Electrical Estimator into a Commercial Manager position, where you will play a key role in securing new, exciting, and profitable projects.
In this role, you'll prepare detailed tenders, review project requirements, and liaise with the operations and contracts teams to ensure accurate pricing. You'll help develop new business opportunities, attend site visits, and see projects through to completion. The position offers genuine variety, hybrid working flexibility, and the opportunity to influence the company's strategic direction.
The ideal candidate will have an electrical background, with a proven track record in estimating within commercial or industrial sectors. You'll be proactive, organised, and commercially aware, capable of managing your workload while building strong working relationships.

The Role:
1. Prepare and manage tenders and cost estimates for electrical projects
2. Liaise with internal teams and clients to ensure accurate submissions
3. Identify and support new business opportunities
4. Attend site visits and assess project requirements
5. Support projects through to completion and final accounts
The Person:
6. Experienced in electrical estimating within commercial or industrial projects
7. Strong electrical background (site or qualifications)
8. Excellent communication and organisation skills
9. Proactive, ambitious, and eager to progress
