The Role
You will be responsible for setting and operating 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC Milling machines. Upon the manufacture of machined parts, you will be responsible for quality control, through the use of manual & digital measuring instruments.

Main Responsibilities
· Set and operate 3, 4 & 5 axis vertical milling machines.
· Prove out jobs.
· Ensure quality is met throughout the shift.
· Identify and communicate any issues which arise throughout the shift.
· Check manufactured parts for compliance to drawing.
· Use CMM, verniers, micrometers, gauges, calipers.
· Ensure that health and safety guidelines and practices are followed.
· Identify and develop manufacturing improvements / procedures.

The Candidate
· Time served engineer (desirable but not essential).
· Knowledge of vertical machining centres.
· 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC Milling experience.
· Understanding and knowledge of manual and digital measuring instruments.
· Knowledge of GD&T.
