CBT Psychotherapist (Early Intervention Psychosis Service)
Join Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust as a CBT Psychotherapist to provide high‑quality CBT and family interventions to people aged 14+ with a first episode of psychosis.
Responsibilities
* Provide CBT and other psychological interventions (e.g., substance misuse and family interventions) to people with a first episode of psychosis.
* Conduct high‑quality assessments and deliver evidence‑based interventions.
* Collaborate effectively with the MDT to strengthen the team's therapeutic capacity.
* Contribute to service development and participate in research and evaluation activities.
Qualifications
* Postgraduate qualification in CBT.
* BABCP registration (or awaiting registration and willing to develop skills).
* Experience working with people with mental health problems.
Service
The Early Intervention for Psychosis Service is a well‑established multi‑disciplinary team providing excellent supervision and support.
We care for over 2,000 people in hospitals and 54,000 in the community each year, and are judged ‘Good’ by the CQC.
