Support Services Manager
Play a pivotal role at the heart of our school. As Support Services Manager, you’ll lead on all non‑teaching operations—from finance and HR to facilities, compliance, and health & safety—ensuring the school runs smoothly every day. Working closely with the Principal, you’ll drive strategic improvements, manage budgets, oversee site and support teams, and help create a safe, efficient environment where staff and students can thrive.
Manor CE Academy is a popular and vibrant 11–16 comprehensive school situated in the historic city of York, with just under 1,200 students on roll.
Responsibilities
* Lead all non‑teaching operations including finance, HR, facilities, compliance, and health & safety.
* Drive strategic improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
* Manage budgets and financial planning.
* Oversee site and support teams.
* Create and maintain a safe, efficient environment for staff and students.
* Ensure continuous professional development and safeguarding practices are upheld.

* Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, full year
