We are looking for an awesome Sales &
Events Manager to join our Sales team at The Barnsdale Hotel.
Our hotel overlooks the beautiful Rutland landscape
with a picturesque courtyard, with a kitchen brigade providing fine dining
using many ingredients sourced from the wealth of fine produce found in the
locality. Encircled by idyllic surroundings on the north shore of Rutland
Water, the hotel is a tranquil rural haven, close to the charming market towns
of Oakham and Uppingham.
The ideal candidate will be a warm, friendly
professional who shares a passion for service excellence, has an eye for detail
and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. This role will report into
the Revenue Manager for The Barnsdale, whilst working in a close partnership
with our General Manager and Group Director of Sales.

In a nutshell, you will:
* Grow
our business profitably both reactively and proactively.
* Retain
and develop our database of clients maximising profits.
* Have
a good understanding of our competitor set, and where we sit within the
market.
* Be
the main point of contact for all corporate events, weddings, social
events and exclusive bookings.
* Ensure
high quality service, on time and to budget by managing weddings and
events to enable us to fulfil our contracted promises to clients and
guests consistently.
* Liaise
and build partnerships with our third party suppliers and ensure a strong
working relationship with each of them.
* Act
as a brand ambassador for The Barnsdale ensuring that a positive brand
image is strengthened and maintained in all interactions with customers.
