As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving global sales across a diverse portfolio, including aerial delivery systems, naval decoy systems, and through-life support. This is a high-impact role focused on shaping the future of our business by developing new markets, forging strategic partnerships, and delivering exceptional value to our customers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop and execute winning strategies to secure new international business.
* Identify, negotiate and close high-value opportunities across core markets.
* Build and nurture relationships with customers, partners, and agents.
* Lead outward-facing initiatives to explore new routes to market, including collaborations with major aerospace and defence primes.
* Represent the company at global trade shows, military trials, and industry events.
* Drive customer-centric innovation by supporting product development and engineering teams.
* Maintain accurate sales forecasts and opportunity pipelines.
* Champion our brand and capabilities in the Defence Aerospace sector.
What we expect:
* Proven success in international business development within Aerospace & Defence (Military/Civilian Aerospace, Maritime, or MRO).
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of defence procurement cycles.
* Willingness to travel internationally multiple times per month.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Experience managing overseas agents and navigating cross-cultural environments.
* Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, agile team setting.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Proficient in MS Office (especially excel) and familiar with formal sales processes.
* Hold or be Eligible for UK Security Clearance.
