The role
Category Manager – Logistics Procurement (Fleet)
Lead sourcing and commercial activity across Fleet and Logistics categories. Deliver value through strong procurement strategies, negotiation, and contract management while supporting stakeholders with commercially sound decisions.
Location - West London (3 days per week)
Salary - up to £70,000 + bonus + benefits
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop the Fleet Procurement category strategy
- Deliver end-to-end sourcing (strategy, approvals, negotiation, contract award)
- Drive commercial value, balancing cost, service, and sustainability
- Partner with Finance to embed savings and track benefits
- Influence stakeholders across Fleet, Logistics, and Procurement
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Ensure risk, governance, and compliance in all procurement activity
- Build robust, long-term commercial contracts
- Manage contract approvals in line with delegated authority
- Maintain strong supplier relationships to maximise value

Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in logistics procurement (Fleet preferred)
- Proven experience delivering complex, time-sensitive sourcing projects
- Strong understanding of fleet procurement (leasing, maintenance, MHE, trailers, alternative fuels)
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
- Experience drafting contracts and managing suppliers
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Confident working with ambiguity and driving change
