Successful candidates will already possess the ANNP and independent prescribing qualifications and have a proven track record of working within a level 3 NICU. We seek dynamic individuals with high levels of expertise and confidence in Neonatology, capable of leading Intensive Care Retrievals while demonstrating excellent team working, professionalism, and communication skills. Previous experience in Neonatal Transport is preferred, or candidates should show a strong interest in adapting their existing skills to this specialized area.
The key responsibilities include:
1. Leading emergency Neonatal Transfers as an autonomous practitioner alongside an experienced Neonatal transport nurse, ensuring effective communication prior to and during transfers, including providing pre-transfer stabilisation advice to referring clinicians during multi-party conference calls.
2. Supporting and participating in elective transfer activities, including repatriation transfers.
