A high-growth business in the Sutton Coldfield area is looking for a part-qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join its expanding finance team. About the Role
You will play a key role in supporting the month-end process, producing meaningful financial analysis, and contributing to the wider performance of the business. With exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence decision-making, this role is ideal for someone looking to progress quickly in their finance career.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
Prepare accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
Complete balance sheet reconciliations
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Provide variance analysis and insightful commentary
Collaborate with operational teams to support performance
Assist in audit preparation and year-end procedures
Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting and controls
What We’re Looking For:
Part-qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA)
Previous experience in a similar finance role
Confident using Excel and financial systems
Strong attention to detail with good analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
What’s on Offer:
Salary of £35,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
