Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join the team at our vibrant new establishment where we serve over 800 guests each week. The Sous Chef will support our talented Head Chef, Mirko.
About the Sous Chef role:
1. Reporting directly with the Head Chef and deputising in their absence
2. Working with the Head Chef to develop new menu ideas and ways to improve our offering
3. Ensuring the food quality is at its highest standard at all times
4. Ensure the performance of the chef team is of the highest standard by motivating and leading by example
5. Overseeing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control in conjunction with the Head Chef
6. Ensure all food safety and health and safety procedures are maintained to the highest standard
Hours per week: 45
Qualifications
7. Proven experience as a CDP, senior CDP or Sous Chef.
8. Proficiency in diverse cooking techniques and cuisines
9. Leaving Cert level education or above
10. NVQ qualification or equivalent
11. Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
12. Flair and innovative with menus and food presentation
13. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
14. Exceptional attention to detail
