Advanced Level 3 Manufacturing & Engineering Apprentice

Location & Work Schedule
Onsite, Tewkesbury, GBR.
What You’ll Do
* Gain practical experience through on‑site placements while studying for nationally recognised qualifications.
* Develop skills in areas such as product assembly, machining and equipment maintenance.
* Complete full‑time education at Gloucestershire Engineering Training (GET) where you will build both practical and theoretical knowledge across a range of subjects.
* Join Moog full‑time, attend GET on a day‑release basis and work towards completing your NVQ qualification.
* Receive regular support and performance reviews from a dedicated apprentice team.
Qualifications & Requirements
* At least 5 GCSEs, including a minimum level 4 (C grade) in Maths and level 4 (C grade) or above in four other subjects including Science and English.
* Relevant work experience from school or college is beneficial but not essential.
* A genuine interest and enthusiasm to undertake a practical, hands‑on role in a manufacturing engineering environment.
* Ability to demonstrate practical projects at school or home that showcase engineering aptitude.
Application & Recruitment Process
* Apply online with a cover letter and CV; the deadline for applications is 30th January 2026.
* Cover letter must explain: why you want an apprenticeship, why you want to work in engineering, and interests outside school/college that support a mechanical aptitude.
* Assessment: In the first stage an online assessment testing math and mechanical aptitude (approximately 60 minutes, no prep required).
* Interview and Assessment Day: Shortlisted candidates attend an assessment centre in Tewkesbury for an interview, group exercise and meet current apprentices.
* Assessment dates: Monday 16th, Thursday 19th, and Friday 20th February 2026.
