Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting students with diverse learning needs, including SEN and behavioural challenges
* Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible humanities lessons to all students
* Providing one-to-one or small group support to help students understand key concepts and succeed academically
* Encouraging the development of social, emotional, and interpersonal skills to help students engage fully in school life
* Helping implement individual learning plans in collaboration with teachers and SENCO
* Assisting with behaviour management to promote a positive and productive learning environment
* Using your humanities expertise to enhance students’ understanding of history, literature, and other key subjects
* Promoting inclusivity, ensuring that all students feel supported and valued
Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
* A 2:1 degree or higher in Humanities or a related field
* Passion for teaching and supporting students with diverse educational needs
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas in an accessible way
* Patience, empathy, and flexibility to adapt to the individual needs of each student
* Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is an advantage, but not essential
* A proactive attitude and eagerness to contribute positively to the students' development
* Interest in pursuing a career in education, teaching, or SEN support
