A perfect opportunity for a room leader who would like to progress in their career.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, committed Senior practitioner working 4 to 5 days (32/40 hours a week). The role of the Senior practitioner is to work alongside the management team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery. You will be required to work closely with the two room leaders over seeing the 0-2 area. You will also be providing professional leadership of the nursery to ensure that all children receive the highest standards of care.
Applicants must have:
· At least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Early Years
· At least 3 years recent experience in an Early Years setting
· A good knowledge of the EYFS and the way individual children develop.
· A clear passion for working with children.
· Be able to inspire the team with activities, planning and creating a welcoming environment.
· Strong leadership skills
· Up to date child protection and first aid is desirable but not essential as training can be given.
