Job overview Our Domestic Assistant for Residential Accommodation plays a key part in keeping our onsite living spaces clean, welcoming and safe. You’ll be part of a supportive Site Services team, delivering a high‑quality cleaning service across our staff accommodation and helping ensure a positive experience for everyone who stays with us. Advert What You’ll Be Doing Providing a thorough and reliable cleaning service across residential areas Working as part of a friendly, collaborative team Supporting the service with light administrative tasks Adapting to meet the needs of a busy and varied environment Main duties Removal of dust, dirt and debris from surfaces such as floors, walls, ceilings, fixtures and fittings, doors, ledges, ovens, fridges, glass and sanitary fittings by appropriate specified methods. Vacuum under beds and vents, clean blinds and damp dust bed frames Technical maintenance of floor and carpets, including carpet cleaning and floor scrubbing Emptying and cleaning waste bins, refuse containers and replacing colour-coded liners according to Torbay and South Devon Healthcare Clinical Waste Policy and secure and store waste for collection Replenishing supplies - toilet rolls, soap etc. Assisting in the provision of the Grounds & Gardens maintenance services clearing paths Working for our organisation Working as part of the Site Services team, you will contribute to delivering the highest standards of cleanliness across our sites, helping to create a safe, welcoming and well‑maintained environment for everyone who uses our services.
