Electrical Maintenance Engineer Birmingham & Surrounding Areas £42,000 - £46,000 We're recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established building services provider, delivering maintenance across a portfolio of commercial properties in the Birmingham region. This is a mobile role offering a stable Monday to Friday schedule, a structured workload, and long-term contract security. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works Fault finding, repairs, and minor installation works Support general building services maintenance (mechanical, HVAC, and fabric tasks) Respond to helpdesk tasks within agreed SLAs Participate in a call-out rota (approx. 1 in 13) Oversee subcontractors and issue Permits to Work Ensure all equipment operates to required standards Maintain a safe and compliant working environment Deliver a high level of customer service at all times Requirements Proven experience in building services or facilities maintenance Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance background Experience working within commercial environments Full UK driving licence (essential) Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (2356/2357) City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 City & Guilds 236/2360 Parts 1 & 2 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential) Desirable: City & Guilds 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing) JIB accreditation IPAF / PASMA Package Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm 25 days annual leave bank holidays Company van, fuel card, phone & PDA Optional personal use of van Overtime available: Weekdays & Saturdays: x1.5 Sundays: x2 Call Out 1 in 13 - Call out allowance (£150 standby)
