We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and expanding utilities business based in Cardiff, looking to add a confident and capable Administrator to their team. What you'll be doing:
This is a hands-on, problem-solving role where no two days are the same. Working closely with the Office Manager, you’ll handle procurement, coordinate accommodation and materials for field workers, and ensure systems and documentation are kept in excellent order.
Raise and track purchase orders
Source and negotiate with suppliers, securing competitive quotes
Manage supplier relationships and resolve delivery issues
Use Sage to process invoices and monitor costs
Coordinate accommodation bookings for field teams
Support ISO 9001 and 45001 systems – training provided
Maintain internal documentation and assist with audits
Keep operations moving by staying one step ahead

Have experience in purchasing, plant hire, administration or operational support
Can juggle tasks with ease, stay calm under pressure, and keep things moving
Are confident communicating with suppliers and team members alike
Have working knowledge of Sage or are willing to learn
Understand purchase order and invoice processes
Are proactive, reliable and detail-focused
Prefer working on-site in a friendly, team-oriented environment
