Responsibilities
* Advising practice teams on independence requirements – helping them navigate regulations and structure services effectively.
* Managing key independence processes to ensure seamless operational efficiency.
* Coaching junior team members – enhancing their knowledge, problem-solving abilities and soft skills.
* Working with and reporting to senior stakeholders across the firm and network.
* Supporting audit tenders and major transitions, advising on independence considerations during client rotations.
* Collaborating with engagement teams across the firm, guiding them on non-audit services and technology tool permissibility.
Qualifications
* Strong judgment, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
* Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
* Team player with ambition, self-management, and adaptability.
* Knowledge of independence or conflict rules is beneficial; training provided.
* Strong communicator at all levels, including delivering difficult messages to senior leaders.
* Ability to build strong relationships and work proactively.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Strategic thinker with strong project management skills and ability to drive projects to completion.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Adaptable and able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
