Job Description
1. Function as the shift supervisor of the Linlithgow GSOC in the absence of a Duty Operations Manager.
2. Coordinate with management to ensure all posts are adequately staffed.
3. Prepare and submit reports as required.
4. Perform supervisory duties such as training, planning, coaching, and addressing issues.
5. Report safety and security issues to relevant authorities and manage emergency responses.
6. Dispatch patrol officers and monitor their activities to ensure safety and response efficiency.
7. Operate and monitor security systems including CCTV, alarms, and access control.
8. Maintain detailed activity logs and respond to alarms promptly.
9. Manage communication systems like telephones, radios, and intercoms.
10. Contribute to process improvements and monitor media for security insights.
Qualifications
Essential
* Legal right to work in the UK.
* Five-year employment history or evidence of employment/education during any unemployment.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Proficiency in MS Office and adaptability to new systems.
* Professional appearance and attitude.
* High integrity and knowledge of Data Protection.
* Proactive approach and embodiment of Securitas core values: Integrity, Vigilance, Helpfulness.
* Current SIA security license.
Desirable
* Experience with LENEL, alarm systems, control room environments, or security operations.
* Progress towards or completion of Securitas Silver Award.
