IT Operational Contracts ManagerWest Yorkshire / Hybrid£400.00 per day Outside IR35\nAbout the Role:\nWe are currently seeking an experienced and proactive IT Operational Contracts Manager to join a leading higher education institution in West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled contract management professional to take on a key role in overseeing a variety of operational contracts. You will work closely with internal teams and external third-party contractors, ensuring that contracts are effectively managed, service delivery is aligned with agreed terms, and operational goals are met.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nManage end-to-end contract processes, ensuring compliance and smooth day-to-day operations.\nOversee the creation and management of Statements of Work (SOW) with third-party contractors.\nCollaborate with administrative and finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing and financial processes.\nContribute to the development and improvement of contract management templates, policies, and procedures.\nAct as the primary point of contact for both internal teams and external contractors, providing expert guidance.\nEnsure the effective execution of contractual obligations and service delivery.\nAttend Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings as the Programmes commercial/contract manager lead.\nWork with the Programme admin team and finance business partner to ensure proper receipt and processing of invoices.\nManage contracts with the 3rd party systems integrator, Resulting, and other contractors on a day-to-day basis.\nOversee the 3rd party systems integrator under their new statement of work and assist in the creation of subsequent statements of work.\nKey Requirements:\n\nStrong experience in contract management, ideally within both the public and private sectors.\nProven experience managing complex contracts and Statements of Work (SOW).\nSolid understanding of financial processes related to contracts.\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple contracts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nMCIPS qualification preferred but not essential.\nProactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.\nWhat you will get in returnThis is an initial 6-months contract paying up to £400.00 per day outside of IR35.
