This consultancy specialises in:

2. Electrical design

Your new role
4. Deliver mechanical building services design across projects from concept through to construction and handover
5. Prepare calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings for HVAC, domestic water, drainage, and associated systems
6. Support senior engineers with detailed design development and coordination
7. Undertake mechanical design using industry software ( IES, Hevp, AutoCAD/Revit)
8. Coordinate designs with electrical, public health, structural and architectural teams
9. Attend design team meetings, client workshops, and site meetings as required
10. Respond to technical queries during construction and assist with site inspections
11. Review contractor proposals and technical submittals forpliance with design intent
12. Ensure designsply with current regulations, standards, and best practice ( Building Regulations, CIBSE, British Standards)
13. Continue professional development and actively work towards Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent)
What you'll need to succeed
14. A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
15. 3–5 years’ experience within a building services consultancy or contractor design environment
16. A solid understanding of mechanical building services systems, including HVAC, ventilation, heating, cooling, domestic water and drainage
17. Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations, British Standards and CIBSE guidance
18. Experience producing calculations, specifications, reports and coordinated design information
19. Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD and/or Revit,
Essential: Experience working on UK projects and UK building odes for a minimum of 3 years.
