The successful candidate will carry out In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) in accordance with the current edition of the IET Code of Practice.
Produce results that meet the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies.
Manage appliance testing in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations.
Liaise with customers to ensure that work is carried out efficiently, meeting customer requirements while minimizing disruption to their business. Sites include schools, hospitals, hotels, and universities.
The engineer must have an acceptable knowledge of Microsoft Office and access to emails. Once a week, the successful candidate will download and send results to the PAT team at Head Office.
Job schedules will be arranged by the PAT Team at Head Office; however, the engineer must manage their own time effectively.
Maintain good timekeeping, ensuring start and finish times are adhered to as directed by the PAT Manager.
Identify and prevent potential customer dissatisfaction, such as arriving late due to traffic. Good route planning and forward preparation are essential.

Average salary: £28,000
