Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract, Full-Time
Compensation Package:
* Base Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum
* Mobility Allowance: £3,600 per annum
* Total Earnings: £68,600 per annum
About the Opportunity
A fantastic, fixed-term opportunity has opened within one of the UK's foremost providers of specialist children's residential care. Following a key internal promotion, we are searching for an exceptional Regional Operations Manager to take the reins of a seven-home portfolio.
This pivotal role is ideal for an experienced leader ready to implement a holistic, integrated care model and drive performance across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities
You will be tasked with the strategic oversight, leadership, and operational management for seven registered Children's Homes. These sites are located across a wide region, including areas in the West Midlands and North Wales.
* Performance Oversight: Direct and empower Registered Managers to ensure all services not only meet but exceed regulatory quality standards (Ofsted and RISCA).
* Standards & Quality: Maintain a relentless focus on compliance, therapeutic best practices, and ensuring an unmatched level of support is provided to the young people in our care.
* Operational Excellence: Drive efficiency, manage resources effectively, and ensure the entire portfolio operates successfully, safely, and compliantly.
Required Experience & Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running and demonstrate a proven track record of success:
* Leadership Experience: Essential experience in multi-site management within the children's residential sector.
* Professional Qualification: Must possess a Level 5 Diploma or equivalent in Leadership and Management for Children's Services (e.g., NVQ/QCF Level 5).
* Regulatory Expertise: Comprehensive and current knowledge of Ofsted and RISCA frameworks and inspection processes is mandatory.
* Travel & Mobility: Due to the regional nature of this role, a full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is a core requirement (supported by the car allowance).
