The Job:
Farm Business & Operations Manager – full-time, permanent. Based on a 110-acre organic farm near Bath, with a farm shop in Bristol. The role focuses on administration, bookkeeping, compliance and operational systems to support the owner in managing and improving a diverse farm business. Salary £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience. On-site accommodation available if required.
The Company:
We are recruiting for a long established organic farm near Bath, operating diversified enterprises including eggs, turkeys, vegetables, events, property rentals and a farm shop in Bristol. With a focus on maintaining sustainable operations while improving efficiency and profitability across all areas of the farm.
The Candidate:
- Significant experience in farm business management or rural enterprise administration
- Highly organised, detail-oriented
- capable of setting up and maintaining financial, administrative and compliance systems
- Analytical skills are essential, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and provide actionable recommendations
- Strong IT skills (Excel, Xero/QuickBooks, Microsoft Office)
- Familiarity with farm operations are required
- Experience in organic or mixed enterprises is desirable
The Package:
- Salary: £30,000–£40,000DOE
- Full-time, permanent role
