About the roleAs a Technician 2, we are seeking a reliable and physically capable IT Hardware Engineer to support the installation and dmissioning of over 200 monitors across various rooms within the facility. The role includes replacing existing peripherals with new ones and handling the movement of heavy equipment and boxes between rooms. Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Install and dmission over 200 monitors across designated rooms.
2. Replace existing peripherals (keyboards, mice, cables, etc.) with new hardware.
3. Safely move and transport heavy boxes and IT equipment between rooms.
4. Ensure all devices are correctly connected, powered, and tested post-installation.
5. Follow project instructions and layout plans provided by the site lead.
6. Maintain accurate records ofpleted installations and dmissions.
7. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including manual handling protocols.
Other stuff we’re potentially looking for:
8. Proven experience in IT hardware installation, dmissioning, or deployment projects.
9. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
10. Familiarity with monitor and peripheral setup procedures.
11. Strong attention to detail andmitment to quality.
12. Goodmunication and teamwork skills.
13. Willingness to work flexible hours if required.
14. PPEpliance as per site requirements (, safety boots, gloves, high-vis jacket).
