Overview
Our client is an incredibly well established and successful company who due to continued growth are looking for a Design Engineer. You will be based in a friendly and supportive team and comprehensive in-house training will be provided on the wide range of products that are manufactured.
Responsibilities
* Using PTC CREO 3D CAD package to design new products and mechanisms
* Attend design meetings and contribute design ideas
* Performing calculations to verify design
* Responsible for progressing projects for new parts and assemblies from conceptual design through to production
* Creation of new bills of materials and manipulation of existing bills
* Liaison with suppliers with regards to parts manufacture, delivery and cost
* Completing documentation for products including test certificates, user manuals and assembly instructions
* Creating technical drawings for both new and existing parts
Qualifications
So we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Design Engineer looking for the next step up within their career. If you have experience of machining, welding or mechanical assembly that would be an advantage as would an interest in electrics.
